I have a salt water hot tub. Should I switch to ?

Absloutely! A 300 gallon hot tub needs at least 10 lbs of sodium chloride (salt), or 4,000 ppm to sanitize properly. True, you don’t have to buy chlorine anymore because you are making it yourself by converting the chloride into chlorine. However, you still soak in the same amount of toxic chemicals as with a regular chemical regime. Just think what salt does to cars in the winter!
Yes, salt is highly corrosive and hot water opening your pores, makes it even worse!

My water is getting cloudy after using for a couple of weeks. What can I do?

Make sure your FREE chlorine/bromine is around 1ppm. Measure the day AFTER you add the sanitizer. Clean your spa filter(s) periodically, and shock every couple of weeks with non-chlorine shock.

I am using pH up and down, scum remover, clarifier and an alkalinity balancer. Do I still have to use these chemicals with ?

No, you don’t need any of these chemicals when you use . You have to balance your water before you add monthly. Make sure pH, alkalinity and calcium content is within proper range. will effectively lock pH and Alkalinity so you don’t have to worry about it until the next draining. We recommend you drain your spa every six months to a year, depending on usage. Make sure your spa filter is cleaned periodically; possibly every two weeks.

If I use , can I stop using sanitizers all together?

No,takes the bulk of the workload from the sanitizer by controlling organic contaminants. You still have to use the minimum amount of sanitizer recommended to kill micro-organisms such as bacteria, mould and viruses or approximately 1 ppm.

The amount of sanitizer needed with is way less than drinking water, or approx. 0.6 ppm. This amount is so small that it will not effect the bathers and will keep your spa bacteria free. (Drinking water has between 3 and 5 ppm of chlorine.)

I bought the Pre-Filter and would like to know if I can use it to fill my aquarium?

Abslolutely! The Pre Filter takes out chlorine so you don’t have to use dechlorinators anymore. In addition the filter removes or drastically reduces hundreds of contaminants such as heavy metals, lime and scale, organic contaminants and VOC’s, hydrogen sulphide and many more.
It can be used for wine and beer making, camping, organic gardening, car washing and for topping up koi ponds. Up to 40,000 gallons of bottled water quality wherever you go, whatever you do!
